Our wide selection of pre-owned acoustic and digital instruments stems from our full value trade-in policy which gives clients the opportunity to trade up to the next level of performance without losing their investment in their instrument. Digital
Digital instruments such as portables, arrangers, synthesizers, stage pianos, and digital home pianos have skyrocketed in popularity in recent years. Sound quality and build quality have never been better. For example, Roland's new SuperNatural sound engine, found in many of our models, has taken digitals to the next level by incorporating technology from their acclaimed V-Piano. Now it is possible to adjust string resonance, touch sensitivity, and damper noise to suit your particlar playing style. Our digital instruments can be found on the Digital page.
A Tale of Two Cities - Berlin and Seifhennersdorf

We have been fortunate enough to acquire two superlative instruments that uniquely highlight the historical continuity of the German piano building tradition. The first is a new C. Bechstein C234 7'8" Semi-Concert Grand in High-Polished Ebony. The second, is a semi-concert grand of the same size but manufactured 125 years earlier in 1884, and known as the Model III.
C. Bechstein Pianofortefabrik was founded in Berlin, Germany on October 1st, 1853 by a young master piano builder named Carl Bechstein. Within 4 years, C. Bechstein pianos were already being installed in some of the finest concert halls in Europe and had come to the attention of Wagner, Liszt, and Von Bülow. At the London International Exhibition of 1862, C. Bechstein grands won several gold medals due to their unique tonal clarity, strength, and playability. Towards the end of the 1900's, Bechstein began providing Queen Victoria with pianos, the grandest being a gilded art-case grand which was delivered to her royal residence at Buckingham Palace. Queen Victoria adored her Bechstein and consequently had several more pianos delivered to Windsor Castle and other Royal Palaces. Unfortunately, Bechstein assets in England were seized by the British Crown following World War I and the Berlin factories were damaged by American bombers in World War II, destroying most of their tools and premium woods.
Interest in Bechstein was acquired by Baldwin in 1963 and in 1986 Karl Schulze bought the company outright, intending to return the company to the top of the Tier I piano makers.
